Hi guys.

A while back i installed an import 2zzge "old spec" motor as a replacement due to my motor being damaged.

I received a complete loom + ecu with it, can any one please advise me on where this would have come from, rpm limit? , rated power output, also does it require a coded key to start like my current ecu?

This is my current ecu

I have a runx yes. But the motor is from a celica probably. No emissions ports on the header.
Also had the very old type lift bolts that was already broken when I installed it lol.

@db. Any idea the power output and does it still use coded keys ?

All I can tell you is that its not from a US spec Celica

It's not out of a celica I don't think, another model with a 2ZZ-GE tho.
Edit* Nevermind you don't have a celica...

its a 2zzge with zze123 chasis, made in South Africa & shipped to Australia only.
Do the transplant, & chip it. It doesnt make a diff which ecu you use.
Bring it up to durban for some schooling :D when ur done
