Need help on 1ZZ Intake Manifold

Hey, this is my first post and it has to do with my 2001 celica gt intake manifold. I started hearing a grinding/rattle noise come from my intake manifold a few days ago. I have looked on MWR's website and found out that 1zz manifold's have a plastic divider plate that can break off. They offer manifolds without this divider plate. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried taking out the divider plate? Or, if anyone knows how to take it out. In the meantime i'm going to drive real easy and try to find a manifold for temporary use.. (junkyard celica)

take the manifold off. shake the loose plastic out. inspect the insides and brake off any plastic if you need to. install it back in.
