power window

how do you fix a power window, it looks liek the cable is snapped? does anyone has an idea as to how to fix it? I took teh panel apart but don't know how to get inside of it.

did you ever figure this out? i'm curious cause my windows are lagging, and I recently had the door panels off.....it looks like you need to take the metal panel out as well?
