When you get new tints on a car (like they've been applied in the last couple weeks) is it normal to have some small bubbles that go away after a short time? Also, do most people with tints have some small specs of dust that get caught under the tint? It seems it would be hard to get rid of all the dust before applying the tint.
I'm trying to decide whether to bitch or not about my tints. There are definitely some dust specs that got caught under the tint and the rear glass is a tiny bit wavy. I'm wondering if I should wait a few weeks and see if it improves.

all the tiny bubbles should be like gone in like a day out in the sun. if their still there after a couple weeks that's way too long. it shouldn't be wavy at all. go back and complain. it should have a warranty. i have a lifetime warranty on mine excluding self inflicting scratches and stuff. most places have this if the're a good shop.

There should be no waves at all and really no bubbles at all. Where did you get your done at Jesse?
bubbles are normal...
I have a reflective tint also and since it's a metal tint it takes a little bit longer...
here and there I remember there were TINY little bubbles (maybe 1 per window, if that) but I had gotten windows tinted on a previous car from the same place and so I didn't freak about it. They're long gone now! :D as for the dust and waves... That is something to complain about.

Alright, I'm going back in there today for some other stuff the shop neglected to do/fuked up. I cleaned the car really well as the rear window has tons of duct specs in it. What sucks is that I had it done by a place that I really trusted, but now I don't trust them for **** anymore.
