so i've been practicing with my t2i for a while now and when i upload my RAW pictures onto my laptop, it wont allow me to view it. im also using cs5 to edit pics if that makes a difference. do i need a converter or something to edit/view my RAW photos? need some help from any canon or nikon? thanks :gap:

check if the cs5 is updated w/ the latest plugins for that model and/or it supports raw pics from that camera now

CS5 is a suite series... What program are you actually using? Photoshop? Bridge?

^yeah but Lightroom is a standalone program. It is not included in the CS5 Master Suite.

Yes use CS% bridge, load the photos in it and double click them. They will then be brought up in CS5 where you can do some pre editing before you actually get to photoshop.

your using a canon T2i right? and thats CS5? I have a T1i and have no problem with raw files not opening in CS5

maybe you are just missing some plugins, i got a T2i too and CS3 with no problems. Also maybe one reason is your car is too low.

that's not it ...

search canon raw plugins on google, or you can search Adobe for it. The easiest program to use is Lightroom for developing and any other editing you can use Photoshop. Lightroom is just a lot more userfriendly when it comes to photo's.

uses:

lightroom(developing / lighting ) > photoshop (any last touches)
