I have an Interstate MT-35 battery. No issues though it has only been under 2 years so far.

Anything from your local parts store is fine. They come with a few years of warranty afterall.

I think that I should look into the Optima Yellow Top battery when the time is needed now.

Well . . . it all depends on what you want it for. Are you auto-x'ing and want a light battery, do you have some crazy build and need high starting power, or are you going all audio etc? For just basic all around daily, an optima yellowtop is great but can be overkill especially at $200.00 a pop (you can find them for a bit less though). Redtop is cheaper and an all around quality battery. Both however weigh a ton (trust me I have 2 yellows and it sinks the car). Braille makes some quality lightweight batteries for racing etc.

^ Weighs a ton and it sinks your car? Was this before or after adding all those stuff in your CELICA. :chuckles:
It's heavy, but it's not that bad. Anyways, Hombre is right about different types of OPTIMA to get.
Here's more info about getting the right one....

I have a yellow top as well. OPTIMA has gone to sh!t quality though since they stopped making the batteries in America.
I had a red top that died within a year (I think it was made in Mexico). Went with a yellow after that... only had to pay the difference since warranty covered the full cost of the red.
My friend has an 8 year old red top OPTIMA that was made in Colorado. Now that's good quality. A shame my red top couldn't even push 12 months... And even worse I paid more for my red top than he did for his back then... they outsourced and prices went up? hmm
