I live near a river and am constantly getting bugs all over my front bumper. Everytime you wash the car you have to rub the hell out them to get them off. Bug & Tar Remover doesn't seem to work. A few other Celica friends are having the same problem. Any suggestions?

I`ve been using "Meguiar`s quick detailer" and found that it does a great job of removing bugs, bird droppings, etc.

1. Spray bug and tar remover on one spot/area at a time.
2. Let sit on bug/tar for time recommended on product.
2. Wipe clean. Reapply if not all removed.
3. Rinse with water.

Don't scrub to hard! I learned the hard way and put scratches in the paint. See if you can wet them down really good, possibly draping the area for a while with a wet towel so they loosen up. Wash as normal without too much extra elbow grease. Then use a clay bar. It will definitely remove the bugs, but will also take off the wax and you will need to re-wax.
I found that they come off much easier if you have a few good coats of polish/wax on there to begin with.
