What's the big deal with the LCD screens? I'd rather my alarm do it's job and not be seen.

Yakko: An LCD display goes on the dash to tell you what alarm went off and why - it also shows the time and battery voltage.

Isn't lowjack a tracking device, not a car alarm?

Anyway, I have a Clifford Intelliguard 9000(samething as a Clifford Concept 600), just different name my Clifford(now DEI) for advertising.

CompuStar 2000AS - Vehicle Alarm paging system with remote car starter.
http://www.compustar.org

Mine is a 1/4 mile range. The new spread spectrum systems have 1.25 mile range and comes with a vibrating remote. Best piece of mind you can get is with an alarm that pages you. Either that or one that shoots fireballs at your theives.

The model I have is both. It's got all the features of the better alarms, plus the tracking device. About the only thing I don't have is an LCD screen. Big deal.
