I read a couple posts a few days ago about using electric motors to generate boost. Someone mentioned something about 32Volt systems in future cars, etc. I was wondering, how much air would an electric turbo fan have to push to sufficiently supply boost through out the rpm range. Secondly, how much power is required? What volume of mixture is needed for one revolution?
In a nut shell I was wondering if an alternator with a higher voltage output could be attached to the belt assemblies and used to power the electric turbo only. How much of an additional load does additional voltage require? I
