Hey guys just wondering if anyone can suggest something I can use to re coat the rotors for my mp62 or if I should just get them professionally redone? I've read all over the internet and can only come up with 2 things that are used and they are epoxy and teflon coatings but where to get them and who makes them is what I need to know. Any input is appreciated.

Teflon isn't something you can easily do yourself, and the rotor coatings are a very thin layer that needs to be evenly applied. I would definitely talk to a professional. Polydyn and Swain can both probably do it.

Why the need for this? As far as I remember, I read several threads that the teflon coating flakes away within a few miles of use of the SC. People were talking as something normal of the blower and no need to do something.... Hopefully it was true?

ive read info that goes both ways, that those without coating aren't losing boost and others are and so on. i need some updated info as to weather or not it will affect the supercharger in the long term or even worse cause damage to the engine if these flakes make there way in through the intake manifold ?

If you are losing boost have Magnuson rebuild the blower. The coating is ablative and designed to wear over time...
