This is my RED S2000 antenna...
It's customa made by me... it's not perfect color match but it's pretty close....
It's not paint so it won't crack or peel..
You can bend it all the way and it won't crack...

try painting the black part at the bottom.

It's some type of rubber coating.. it's really thick meterial...
I dipped it 3 times to get good coating on it.....
It's wheather proof...... :D

isn't that the stuff at hardware stores used to dip tools in like for example the the part where you hold pliers its ment for grip or something

I like the black but since I'm going with red theme.. just trying to match it... and black antenna seems to stand out too much....

I was thinking of making the base part red too but it seems too blend in.. but I might try to make that red too later on....

speaking of pics of that antenna i still havenm't gotten our met pics from matt. Hopefully i'll see him at the next auto-x and he hasn't left for college yet.

about the antenna, guys he's not kidding when he says it's thick

Hey Dooly... do you think that stuff would adhere well to leather? I'm thinking of doing that to the hood piece of the OEM bra.

I have no ideal.... it might.. but if you pull it hard enough.. it kind of peels off... but on my antenna.. it would be really hard to remove it.. it seems almost permanent.....
