Don't have a smart phone for these. I've seen the one on my friend's iPhone though and it looks snappy.

Yes, you do. Don't hold your breath for the iPhone coming out on T-Mo. Maybe after AT&T buys them.

Don't have a smart phone for these.

Get on it, Chad.

Get service everywhere, but my house :marky:

Then again, no one gets service at my house. It sucks.

Yeah, I renewed w/T-Mo this month and got a G2x...and a 2yr extension unwillingly.

Alright, lets stick to photography apps in this thread. There are plenty of smart-phone discussion threads in OT.

return the g2X.

It's fine and it does everything I need it to do. There are always going to be better performing phones coming out - it's inevitable. You got an app to recommend?

On this note, anyone have any recommendations for a better camera? Preferably one with panoramic shot.

Motor, I mention this for you as well since we have the same phone. I'm not sure if you have the GB update, it removes the stock LG camera which rocked because it could do panorama shots.

Nope, don't have it. Is there a free and malware free app in the Android app store that does panorama?

Not happening, also, why would you do that to yourself.

I tried Photaf.

It sucks. I could be doing it wrong, but everytime I tried using it, it would keep adjusting the contrast causing my stitched shot to look horrible with one shot really dark and another light.

Also, it didn't stitch the shot together as well as the stock LG.

What it DID do better was: Full 360 shots and higher resolution.

I've heard some good and bad things about it, I've never actually tried it myself as I haven't had a use for it.

one thing i noticed abt the G2x is the poor GPS compared to the MT4g. Its always as bad as the Vibrant's GPS chip.

Photo Editing:
- Picsay Pro
- PHotoshop

Picture taking:
- i just use the stock camera for the vibrant. Samsung really knows how to optimize the software for their mobile phone cameras. Cant say the same abt HTC o.O
- i used to have a lot of different camera apps that provide different effects, but i uninstalled them since the i dont use my phone's camera in a way where i need effects.

I never had a single GPS issue with my G2x. I've read about some users on certain ROMs having issues, but never myself.

I agree though, Samsung makes nice camera apps. In fact, the old LG one was almost identical.

i was reading that it was a common issue. the G2x gps lock seems uber slow compared to the MT4g , and G2. side-by-side test btw.

It might be slower, I haven't compared. I heard some people's phone wouldn't lock GPS at all.

I came from a MT3G lol so it's fast to me.

(Android) Fast Burst Camera "Lite"
It supposedly takes 5-10 pictures per second. Its not too bad for a free app. There is a full version for $3.99 that i may actually buy
