on a recent road trip to chicago i got the drift bug. drifting in the celica just isnt right. but i do wanna start autocrossing now. but im lookin for a hachi as my new project car. i dont care about the body cuz i can fix that. all i really care about is the engine and drivetrain. if anyone knows of any for sale please let me know. thanks!

Buy an 83-86 Corolla with a blown motor. Import the J-Sepc 4AGE. It'll end up around the same price if you were to buy one that has a running engine. Oh yea and it'll be a hell of a lot faster.

Thats a good idea but I'd take a J-Spec 4A-GZE from the MR2 instead. It would be easier to get more hp from it and it bolts right in!

thanks for the replies everyone. i have checked out many sites dedicated to ae86's and the 4agze swap seems like the most likely swap. ive been thinking about a 3sgte swap too. but right now im still just looking for the car.
