Thought I'd post up some of the crap I'm doing to my own car, I plan on doing a build thread at some point, but for now this'll have to do. So rather than go and buy something that FIT the Celica, I decided to design my own system. I'll be using custom hats (7076 Al) with off the shelf NASCAR friction rings (12.5"x1.25) and Performance Friction carbon ceramic pads. The front calipers are 4 piston aluminum monoblocks with a total piston area of 5.55" (up from the stock area of 3.955") and I'm still deciding on the rear but will probably go with a PBR or ATE 2 piston with a Brembo spot caliper for the E-brake (anyone wanna buy some stock GTS rear disk brake stuff :gap:) . I'll be using a Tilton MC/bias adjuster setup with a separate cylinder for the clutch...because them sharing the same fluid is annoying (on a good day). Rotors will be full floaters with brembo mounting hardware. Here's a pic of the hats. More to follow.

its all cool though. Custom parts are the best ones.
Better when you make them; even the ****ty ones are amazing

Hats almost done, some edges still need to be chamfered and the lug holes will have steel inserts pressed in to reduce wear.

So are you just CNC machining hats to fits on a two piece rotor and then fabing a bracket to run a brembo 4 piston caliper as well from like a new evo or something?

seems like this would make a bbk swap easier

^ Exactly, the calipers aren't from a production car but everything else is dead on. I basically got tired of trying to find a rotor that would work and premade hats that will fit our pcd and hub bore are damn near nonexistant.
