I'm looking at buying a NX NOS kit from a local dealer in houston, but I have a few questions. They said I will need to change my plugs, what kind should I get? Also, is there anything that doesn't come with the kit that I will need? Finally, I have straight pipes, AEM Alt. Pulley, and Injen CAI should I add or remove any of this aftermarket stuff before getting the kit?

Thanks for the help.

Sorry, i meant to say I am buying a nitrous kit. I didn't know improper references to nitrous were so frowned upon here, I am new to this site. But, what I really need to know is what the gen X 2 accesories package will do for me, and if it is worth it to buy the package, or just some of the parts separatly. Sorry for the bad spelling

Straight Pipes
Injen CAI
AEM Alt. Pulley

imo, the genx2 upgrade is absolutly worth it. has the pressure guage, heater, blowdown tube, and purge i beleive. i may have left something out, but it's all worth it. that's what i bought and am glad that i did. there is a purpose to the stuff and it will help insure a good run-in with nitrous. i know the spark plug #'s for the gt-s, but not the gt. they might be the same, but i don't know for sure.

I am going to take my AEM alt. pulley off, for two reasons. one, toyota thinks that it is making my tensioner go bad, and two. i want to make sure that i am getting all the electrical power i can get to make sure that the solenoids are getting what they need. it may be a little overboard, but i want to insure that i don't screw things up with a dumb little mistake. i mean really, how much power is that thing making anyways. not enough to worry about if i am on the bottle right? that's about it. i would recommend the mallory window switch, and maybe a A/F guage, but that's about it. you don't need them, but it will help insure that you won't run nitrous to low or high in the RPM range. too low and the car runs lean, and that's when things start to go bad and detonate. too high, and you are at the fuel or spark cut-off(still hasn't been determined which one). hope that helps a little. i'm sure someone will tell you what i might have forgot. good luck!

try the SEARCH button. it's on the top right corner of every page. just type in mallory or window switch, and you should be able to find it. i've learned that a lot of stuff can be found using the search button. most questions have been answered before. i'm not being an @ss like most people. just tryin to help make things easier for ya.
