i sold a few celica parts to this guy.. which he never gave me a i trader rating for.. but that doesn't matter.. i later contact him, asking about his struts/shocks that was on his car.. he told me what they where.. i ask if he would sell them to me.. maybe around the middle of Oct. he said sure no problem.. afew weeks later.. he place the struts/shocks on the for sell forum..
i contacted him and ask him about that.. he said, he jst wanted to see if he could get more money.. but they are still gonna be sold to me.. everyday from that point.. he kept making excuses to why he couldn't contact me.. to set up a day to meet up.. so i can buy the struts/shocks.. after almost a month he contacted me and said.. he sold it to someone else because the money was better..

i forgot to mention.. sciproject11 was the one who set the price for the struts/shocks.. that he said, they are gonna be sold to me.. i agreed on that price..

to the people who posted above.. you guys do not make any sense.. i ask sciproject11 what he was gonna do with his struts/shocks.. since he has coilovers now.. he told me he has no use for the struts/shocks anymore.. and that he will sell them to me.. when im rdy to buy them.. he told me how much he wanted.. i told he that price is fine.. afew week later.. he decided to advertise the struts/shocks for sell.. meaning he never intended to sell me them.. everytime i contact him about the struts/shocks.. he kept making excuses up, about him being busy.. but he always said, do not worry.. they are yours.. im jst busy with things atm.. amonth later he finaly decides to contact me and says.. he sold them to someone else because the money was good.. all in all.. that is bad business.. if he wanted more money for what ever reason.. he could of told me.. not only that.. but i was the only one to ask about the item.. way before he advertise the struts/shocks for sell.. the reason why i knew about the struts/shocks being off his car, is because im the one who sold him afew parts.. there was no need for what he did.. so yes thumbsdown on this guy

I see where you're coming from but he also has the right to sell them to who ever he pleases. But that is a ****ty thing to do on his behalf.

i see nothing wrong besides excuses on sci's part.. nothing was OFFICIALLY up for sale until the thread was posted.

I do understand your frustration with this situation Jun Jun. This very thing has happened to me on this forum many of times.

You must remember we are in a recession and when times are hard people are going to go for the most money they can. In some cases integrity goes right out the window. In my opinion sciproject11 owed you the common courtesy of at least asking you if you could match the new price being offered, then told you he would have to go with a different buyer if you could not.

However, all that being said, no actually transaction has taken place, no money has exchanged hands, and while what he did to you may be not the best path taken, this is not a valid thread.
