Question with foglights

i remember reading a year or 2 ago that if u replace ur fog light bulbs with say piaa h3 superwhite bulbs they are still gonna look like stock cauz of the coating of the fog light lens

is this true?

and if so what other fog lights could i buy that will enable me to have a nice white light, or even one with a blue tinge

p.s. i have a set of piaa superwhite h3 bulbs and i gotta install them before i put my blitz kit on cauz, then im not taking it off
