cool,cool...i'll be in church till..hmm..somewhere around noonish...after that, lets make a whole day out of it....i just saw previews for "signs" w/ mel gibson...comes out friday....you guys wanna catch it in philly?

Roll-in is 8:30 am - 1 pm
Judging is 1 pm - 5 pm

so get your car set before church and you can meet us there.

the price wont be taken care of, but its been requested that we register online and he'll hold us all a place to park as soon as i know who all is going. he'd like us all to be at the show before 11 if thats possible.

Nate, if you have church thats cool, he's going to hold you a spot with all of our cars if you want to come by after church. personally i'm going to try and make the wednesday service.

Its like the fraternity concert promotion in the movie PCU, "Everyone gets laid". There are valid opportunities for all on that campus. I've seen at least 80-90 nice girls on campus. All we need is 40-60 to show up at Brownies so there's a fine selection for the couch.

Well, if I can go, I'm definitely not showing my car. Rock chips, scrapes, gouges, etc. in the paint. Plus I got overspray on over 75% of the car. Besides the fact that the only external mods I have are painted headlights and red-out tail lights.

My mom was repainting an old oven hood with epoxy spray paint in the garage, and my car was outside (just in case). Unfortunately, the paint found my car (some parts feel like sandpaper). I'm gonna have to clay bar the whole car, so I'm saving that for a weekend that we don't have any meets. :)

Sounds like a damn good time. Unfortunatly, looks like I'm gonna be out till middle/end of august sometime. headed to Hershey park this weekend, then going camping with all the boys the followin week. And the week after that, well, haven't figured it out yet, but going somewhere. Haven't been on a vacation in god knows how long, and finally donig it now.

He he, just got back from the local court for an Unsafe Speed ticket and the policeman approached me 5 minutes before my trial and let me off. I was prepared for battle but my verbal weaponry now rests in the holster.

I'll be at the show with no points on the license and an extra $60 in my wallet.

A plain clothed guy walks up to me 5 minutes before trial and asks, "Are you Mr. Williams?" I say, "Yes." He says, "I was the arresting officer and I let you off, you can go home, but don't speed."

They barely had a case...no radar, bad line of sight for "guessing" how fast I was going, and they could've pulled over the truck next to me but didn't (and that's prejudicial). When he pulled me over, he tried to trap me with "Do you know what you did wrong" and "Do you know how fast you were going?" I answered plainly..."Did I make an illegal turn on red or did I go through a red light" and "No officer I don't know how fast I was going but I was unaware I was speeding".

Driving a red sports car at 1:10am (when bars just have closed in DE) on a Saturday morning, I imagine the cop was suspicious. I told him if I was in his position, I might be too. (To help him see that I was relating to his situation.)

Its really up to you guys. There were really only 3 of us in the Maple Shade crew anyway. Us 2 and Eric. I imagine Eric would want to go to E'town to check out the place unless he's dead set on showing. E'town will be bigger and better IMHO.

I'll bring a Polaroid of Brooke showin the prize-winning top end in the passenger side of my old '97 4Runner.

Just got back from the dealer for the belt tensioner. They couldn't get the car on the lift so I waited and waited for them to figure out exactly nothing. They ordered a grommet that was missing on the headlight and will be bringing in 2x8's so I can get it on the lift Monday. I'll get back to you Nate about this weekend.

from what i'm told about Maple Shade is that its just about booked anyway. its been requested that we try to be at the show at MS ar 9:30-10 at the latest for the best spots for our cars. up to u guys though

I just got off the phone with Maple Shade and they said there's alot of space left. Personally, a show that's not anywhere near booked a few days prior to the show doesn't sound really solid. Eric, I'm not sure what they told you.

If would've heard about Flex's show first, that would've been the one I would've went to see and then I would've hit the town afterwards...I would've skipped out on Sunday.

Now with partial group commitment to Sunday, hearing about and now maybe going Saturday will just make the weekend even more busy. Let's get together on this.

Hey guys,

I talked to Welly today, and he said since he was good friends with Eric, he'd try to get the Celicas into good spots, but you guys have to try and show at a good time. They have like 5 models, and they got the girls to pose for the Celicas to be posted on some websites. There will be also a SPL competition with prizes. And they are trying to get permission for a burnout contest too.

I just talked to Welly again, he's not entering the competition, he will be a display vehicle. He told me that PSR will be there covering the event, and they will also be shooting videos for an upcoming DVD video. People not entering the show can park their cars on the street, there is no charge for spectators. Come on guys, get more cars to go!!!
