Plz no newbie pun.

I recently intalled a JDM 1zz in my 02 GT after it threw a rod 2 days after i bought it!!!!!!!!
I have been doing a lot of research and i am in search of power boost. I already have a CAI and cat back exhaust system. A friend of mine with an 03 GT has the same CAI and same CBES as me and he has dyno his car. He got a 4 whp increase.....NOT VERY IMPRESSIVE!!!! I am thinking cams???? Has anyone done this before? Can you tell a major difference? I found some stage 1 cams that i am thinking about.

I have also been thinking about a PCM. Is there a set up that you have a switch like mechanism in the cabin of the car that i could choose what kind of power i want at that moment. Like economy/balance/HOT!!!!!!! Money is NOT an issue. :-)

Thanks to anyone that can help me!!!

If money isn't an issue why didn't you just buy a GTS to begin with?

with the 1zz, just turbo it... motor is more boost friendly than 2zz(high compression) motor..

100% wrong!!!!!!

Why would it be wrong? I was also under the impression that higher compression ratios sustained more long term damage from forced induction than lower compression engines....

I'm not doubting you, I know you know your ****...but explain?
