Should be fine with a solid tune. Only thing you might think about is getting your valvebody modified to raise the line pressure in your transmission.

So that it will shift faster? Or it's prevent hitting the rev limiter during WOT?

Neither - primarily it prevents the clutch packs from slipping and burning up the tranny. It will also shift a little faster and harder though.
