Hi,

Can anybody point me in the right direction for a wiring guide for the above...I've tried a search and drawing a blank.

Also if any one has a base Map for 1zz NA with I/E/H that would be great.

I know the F/IC is mainly for F/I applications but I'm just wanting to play around to see if I can draw a few more from the set up

Thanks

you are wasting your money. if you really did search, you would see that the FIC does not work well on Toyotas. especially the celica. dont even bother wiring it in.

This is not true many people on here getting great results from this providing they keep a eye on the map to compensate for re learning issues. Main issue seems to be incorrect wiring or poor harness application which has caused cel and poor performance. This is why I'm asking for a wiring diagram so I can ensure I get this right 1st time

I appreciate your advice smaay and forums like this are great for help/info and if I've missed or not read something regarding the f/ic can you post a link so I can see!?

Thanks

fic works differently to s-afc, you should know this!

a piggyback system will always have downfalls to a full stand alone. There will always be issues. so to saw it works perfect when there's a constant master control issue is a flawed statement.
The Denso computer is designed to always compensate for the adjustments made by the piggyback so it will default back into the accepted tolerances set by the engineers. Its not a learning ECM so it will always try to default back and not let the piggy back settings become an accepted tollerance which is why they dont work well on the celica ECM.
I believe the lotus ECM is a different story

There's a thing called an O2/AF SPOOF. The AEM is can do it but takes some time and understanding. If you have an O2 it's a sine wave 0.11-0.77 volts is roughly 14.7 AFR. If you have an AF it's a current push-pull with Zero current at 14.7 AFR. If Toyota can do it on a 1zz with a TRD SC and TRD Piggyback then it can be done.

A M/T DBC would use a TPS Spoof which is much simpler.
