i know you all will say obx is cheap and you get what you pay for but has anyone had experience with the obx turbo manifold? i purchased one and filed it smooth but it seems to be leaking only out of the top of the manifold. i have tried two different kinds of gaskets. anyone with any help?

Sounds like the mating surface isnt flat and true, take it to a machine shop and see if they can mill it flat again.

no it is true. i was playing with it a little today and seems there is unused bolt holes or holes of somesort where the manifold meets the block and it seems to me that this is where the leak is coming from

So weld them shut, whats the big deal. When you buy cheap you have to be willing to think and do stuff you wouldnt have to do when buying legit parts but welding some holes shut isnt rocket science

Are you talking about the air injection ports on the top of the exhaust ports? You need a manifold flange made to cover / cap those off or you will always leak.
