Bo (GTSnut) is moving to Tri-State from Omaha, NE. To toast his arrival, Dave & Busters on Delaware Ave. has been tabbed as the locale of choice. Time will be announced.

Toss your name into the hat with a suggestion or two if need be.

IN: GTSnut (Bo), WillyWonka (Will), PACelicaGTS (Eric), Nate22 (Nate), BlueBomber (Chris of the 99% chance I'll make it Chris's)

MAYBE: PapiChuu

'nuf said. Ample parking at D&B's and the vicinity. The damn construction is inevitable in the surrounding area but we can all make it there in one piece and the directions are easy for everyone instead of running thru Manayunk and Center City.

There's 50/50 chance I might be going. Nate, what time are you leaving on Sat? I'm gonna follow you if I go, cause I can't follow directions for sh!t. Originally posted by nate22

Must have taken 15 minutes to write that post with all the smileys. I'm down for anything as long as Nate leaves his rubber gloves at home. :squint:

i'll bring just one pair....initiation thing, right will?

WillyWonka
07-25-2002, 07:03 PM
I saw them on the garage floor but I didn't ask. I didn't see anyone using them; otherwise, I would've immediately questioned them and smacked them with the full box. :) Personally, I like my man hands, callouses (from work and not the work you're thinkin) and all, and women like them too. As for the initiation, think bringing the box.

The smiley post was quick since I have a gallery of them I've collected about a month ago. That's the second time ever I've used that many. The other was explaining the reason I chose to move from my ex gf's place. Smilies drove home the point. Here too.

i have my AA meeting saturday, hopefully ill get out early ;)

WillyWonka

There's no better way to break out of AA than by playing pool, having a beer, picking up a woman, having a beer, eating food with a beer, and then taking the woman to a club, then getting in and paying more for the same brand o' beer due to fine club beer prices.

Damn birthday party in Harrisburg. Though I will be in Reading for the evening, at YOUR local strip club Bo, (bacherlor party). But i'm in philly quite a bit, specially in the upcoming months, and plan to move there by december. So I'll def be down at a later date.

WillyWonka

Yep, Al's Diamond Cabaret in Reading...one of Howard Stern's old favorite places to tell stories about. If Bo hasn't been there, I imagine he'll make it once or twice.

Bo will call me when he's in and ready. His beater car is presumably not fit for the type of entrance he'd choose to make (since Celica is in storage in Reading) so he's in need of a ride from Reading. I let him know that I either I or Eric could pick him up then drive into Philly. I'll contact Eric later (or maybe he'll read this earlier) so we can make a decision about running up for Bo (he is closer to Eric by a few miles). I'm sure that the group could meet earlier at D&B (park, grab grub inside and take in a game or two) and hold for Bo and driver to arrive.

ya missed quite a bit there mikey, started at Dave and Busters and ended at Brownies 23 east! it was fun

nate22

eegads! haha, that message will left on my v/m last night was friggin' hilarious......."chris(BB) has his pants down and his butt hanging out......and all these girls are writing stuff on it w/ markers..." you totally got me...i was all "doooooooood, i left too early!!"

good time last night..that police virtuality game made my legs hurt....can barely walk this morning......eric, gimme buzz about your bro-in-law(piercing)..buddy o' mine is interested too, see what he says and lemme know, we won't let him do it for free, however we'd love to not spend $50-$60 ya know?

WillyWonka
07-28-2002, 12:20 PM
That message was pure improvisation. My legs are a bit sore from the cop game but I did catch all the criminals after about $20 on the second game. The late ride to Brownies was a trip. It may have been more judicious of the group to bolt from D&B earlier to stop in Brownies or a similar place. There were more women at the bar dancin and throwin themselves around and actually (who'd figure) it would've been cheaper than the cop game!

Hopefully Chris made it home fine this morning. After those 90 miles, I'd be glad Monday didn't involve work. The vids and pics he shot should be cool to check out. I saw one city pic, one vid of my stereo and one of the plumbing hang in the garage.

Its still hard to figure how those little guys always change what they're doing right on the music. The video made me laugh.

They're probably tuned into the bass and treble, kinda like the visualizations on Winamp. They just read and follow the beat.

WillyWonka

Eh, well Bo's beater was packed full of Celica parts so he could not make the drive to Philly (I wouldn't leave a car with car parts in it in Philly either). Two of us originally had a plan to pick him up in Reading, but that was erased from my plans when I heard he'd be coming to Philly then switching out of his car and cruising with one of us. Well that didn't happen due to the packed beater.

So we did not latch up with him on Saturday but the group hit the town. Oh well, we'll work this out next time Bo. Bigger and better next time.

Larry, pm us when you have time on one of these weekends and we'll work something out if you need transportation.
