You guys have to pick this issue up. It talks about the Matrix and they turbocharged it. They make a lot of comparisons with the Celica. Looks like a turbo for a soccer mom. XS engineering did the turbocharging and did do the turbo for the Celica GT. Any comments?
Why can't XS engineering sell the turbo kit for us? I mean they have done it twice for the same engine, well almost the same engine.

Just to set things straight, XS did the turbo for the Matrix and GT-S, both with the 2zz engine. WCToyota is doing a turbo for the GT.
and the XS kit will be for sale in about a month according to them..

Do they still want a left nut for it? haha just j/king. If I could afford it I'd drop the cash. Or I might consider the left nut idea....

Thanks for the correction and info guys. I guess I'd better go in lock down mode if I'm gonna save for that turbo cuz I ain't sparing my nuts.

Yeah, I've seen that new edition of SCC with the XS Project Matrix but didn't have the chance to read it. Does the Matrix with XS turbo have the same power gains as the XS turbo Celica???
its the same engine and turbo setup, so it should..

:D Dunno if it's SCC or Turbo magazine where I saw like different types of Chevy Cavalier, but there was a white Cavalier with a TRD badge and when I was driving to work today, I saw a Black Cavalier with a GTS badge. :D

Hey the matriz redline in the SCC IS AT 8100 unlike the Celica's 7800 which I thought was interesting. I wonder where the rev-limiter is?

hmmm.....
you guys ever think about a centrifugal supercharger with an intercooler setup?
it would be lots easier to install, and wouldnt require nearly as much fabrication..
gains are typically 50-70% .....
turbo's are just a real hassle to put onto an engine not designed for one..
no one makes a kit for that and it doesnt fit in the engine bay without moving **** around.. I tried to fit a paxton s/c in and it was too big as was an Eaton M62.. the Eaton M45 (rootS) might have fit but didnt have one to play with.. either way youd have to lose the cruise control, remove one of the cooling fans, and relocate the coolant tank.. :)

Not too much of a hassle... hehe
no, its really not.. i shoulda taken pics of when i had it in the car.. fabricating the mounts would have been the hardpart..
