This is similar to a string already up but my question is as follows. The other day i noticed a bunch of scratches on my car in 2 seperate spots on my passenger side. they seem only surface but it looks like it hurt. It looks like something fell on it. This really upsets me and i want to rectify it asap. I have acess to a garage and hope to polish and wax it this sunday(weather permiting). The question is should i polish my WHOLE car or only the affected areas? would there be any repercussions of not polishing the whole car at once? The reason i ask is cause i just polished my car in september. Thanks in advance

Work the affected area with the scratch remover of your choice (per their directions), making sure to feather out the area you are rubbing. ie: If the scratch is 1" then lightly work the area surrounding out to about 3" on all sides of the scratch. (don't just concentrate directly over the scratch)

I would suggest repolishing and waxing at least the whole body panel that has been affected. If time, weather and energy permit the best bet would be to do the whole car. Last time you did it was Sept, that's 3 months ago now. With the weather as warm as it has been you should take advantage and get in another waxing before the snow hits.
