OK i was just hanging out with this new group of friends i have ran into, and SHEEET do they have some fast ass imports! The one freind had a Nissan 300Z twin turbo , he started talking about how he did mess with the engine internals and swaping the stock turbos out, it was an auto but damn it had TORQUE!!! It was wet that night from a rain shower a few hours ago, and we hit the roads on it ... swerving all over the streets trying to get tracktion we sped off ... the MPH was FLYING UP ... my estamite is 0-60 in 5 flat (BTW we were on the highway .... being safe about it;) ) it was an incredible ride .... loking at it from the outside looked like a totaly stock car! The second one was a VERY OLD stock lookin CRX. He showed his engine swap a B16 somethin .... dont know my acura engine codes like i know my toyota codes :chuckles: Anyways he tells me to get in ... he wanted to see what it could do also with the new sticky tires he just put on this week. As i entered the car EVERTHING WAS STRIPPED OUT!!
I look at him and say "how much does this thing weigh" .. He said "barely any at all" Before he started the car i put 2 and 2 together and realized i better buckle up for this ride:thumbup:.
He also had a ACT clutch that griped the frick out of the car ... the exhaust was also a cat and strait pipe after that. The CAR MOVED!!! OMG THE SPEED!!! As he hit the top of third gear i held on for dear life ... as the sides of the car was a blur. After this experience .. i wish we could do the engine swaps like the honda's. They wanted a drive in my car , and they gave me props and all, and they loved the overall perfectness to the well balanced car it was, but i knew it was like a snail to theres, ..... I need MORE POWER.... The craving never was this bad until now!

Yeah, CRX's can be made fast cheap. They're lighter than our cars which is really light, so having close to 200 hp on them makes them super fast.

yea i am starting to regret trading in my 01 prelude sh for a 02 gts. For one thing i am so pissed about the rev limiter at around 7600 rpms that my prelude didnt have. I also have a fully built b20 in a integra that can run low 11s in the 1/4. still trying to figure out what im going to do in my 02gts with that damn rev limiter. Again i just found all this crap out so i am extrememly pissed off. I plan to just go buy a new stand alone ecu for my gts though. That will fix the problem plus it will make my car a lot quicker.

The rev limiter can be put back to 8400 without too much hassle - check the thread called knock sensor in the Technical forum.
