hi i just recently got my car back today the kit looks great just the front piece that is but the guy said he couldnt fit the grills that came with it in so hes giving them to me tomorrow, is it easy to get these grills in and why do you think he couldnt get them in? is it just the kit and grills or is there something special you need to put the grills in

thanksssssss!

btw ill try to get some pics up it really does look good

also is it good to let it be in the rain after the kit is put on and can i wash it or no? i have to go back in 2 weeks to get it polished

Some hindsight...you should've asked him he could perform 100% of the job. If not, I would've left to find another installer. If he said yes and then did not get the job done (grille), well then you have grounds for a discounted price figuring in only completed work. My grilles were cut, formed, then adhesed to the kit by my installer with a black tar-like substance (forget the name).

Rain isn't taboo but its not the greatest thing to happen to a new paint job. You can wash it gently (no Karate Kid techniques on new paint) but do not polish or wax the kit. Sure you can wash, polish, and wax the rest of the car, but do not polish or wax the newly-painted areas. Wait for one month for the new paint to be cured, then hit it with your polishes and waxes.

Here's a link to the best cover I know of...
