Toyota sales increased 9.7% over last year:). Unfortunately, Celica sales are down 32%, which is not uncommon for a model that's going on its 3rd year of production. Just by looking at the figures, looks like the "Action Package" marketing didn't do too well for 2001...hehe.

where do you get these figures? just wondering cuz i want to follow auto industry news.
of course sales are down, when it came out, the celica was the shiznit. but now there are more of them out there plus other newer models (as you said Bat).

I can't imagine this surprises anyone. Do you think it was because of the stupid slogan or the fact that the kit is fugly?

I haven't seen any Action Package Celicas on the road yet. Nor have I seen any of their commercials.

Well there's quite a few down here in San Diego. There's a silver and blue one in my part of town.

I haven't seen any either. Typical for car models to go through this. Most new models bring in alots of business.

I think I've seen more Action Package Celicas here in San Diego, than other places I've been.
