headlight problems

My light on my passenger side keeps frying the light white plug that plugs into the bulb. it is the h7 bulb. i know it is being shorted out but where and why. I am stump. can anyone help me or should i just take it to toyota??

i had the same problem, except on my fog lights, i would always have problems with the passenger side. at the time i was using cuzo bulbs, (maybe the reason why they blew out so frequently) but anyways, after the second time of replacing the bulbs i had noticed that the seal/gasket(whatever you want to call it) was not seated properly which led to some condensation entering and shorting out the bulb. maybe you would want to look there to see if there is any moisture getting into the housing.
