I worked on in install this weekend on my buddy's 00' Celi. Here's my dilemma: I installed a LLC on the rear channels of the deck. Everything works fine as far as the stereo goes, but the vent control will only go to the first two positions (unimpeded). It will go to the third with a little more pressure. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, just wondered if this had happened to anyone else?

Well, Appearantly I made a boo-boo no one else has made yet. Leave it to me. I guess I'll have to tear it apart to find the answer.

I read your post on Mon. but I don't understand it so I didn't reply. Maybe others don't either.

Are you saying that you took apart the dash and spliced wires for an amp and when you put it back together the dial for the air speed gets stuck? If so all I can say is take it apart and make sure everything is lined up correctly. It should fit back together snugly but you shouldn't force the plastics or the dials too hard.

When you're turning the controls you're moving a cable.

Chances are the control cable is catching somewhere... Just pull off the side panel and find out where,

Don't know if you guys are interested, but I pulled my buddy's Celi appart yesterday and I found the problem. When I was stripping the wire I wasn't too careful where the ends went, and it went down into the gearing for the vent control (first time I've seen that). Soon as I found it and removed it, vent control worked fine. Whoops!?!<IMG SRC="http://www.newcelica.org/ubb/smilies/cwm1.gif" border=0>
