maybe add a TSB listing for the new celica's, any recalls, umm..routine maintence schedule that you can print out, or maybe even an interactive one, like a My Garage or something that keeps track of your schedule and you can update to keep current. maybe like a reminder...

maybe offer member homepages, a bigger nc.org speedshop offering different parts thru the site, t-shirts, stickers,

i dunno..try making it more commerical, and user/enthusiast friendly..like a total web community? this is what stangnet, and other mustang sites are starting to and have done, to some pretty good success.

oh BTW...here's Slasher's directions for installing a Injen CAI on a toyota Celica.

AHEM!

1. open your hood (you'll need to touch your engine bay)
2. prop the hood open (so it dont fall on yo head, and split ya wig)
3. look for rubber tubing going into your throttle body and valve cover (or the big rubber thing going into the big plastic metal thing taking up your engine bay)
4. unscrew the entire rubber hosing, and the big box attached to the end of it.
5. rip that junk out of the car and throw it at your neighbors barking dog
6. take the Injen out of the box (so you can put it in the car, dummy!)
7. match up the end part of the tubing with the part of the engine that the stock rubber hosing connected to. (or your TB to you more advanced folk)
8. run the hosing through the engine bay like your basic intellect shows you. (Injen prob provided directions, if not, route the piping so it fits with your hood closed)
9. attach the filter at the end of the Injen tubing so rocks dont get sucked up into your intake manifold like a Hoover. (or to prevent both your cams from not engaging)
10. check to make sure everything is connected snug so it doesnt fall off, check all screws, etc.
11. reset ecu by pulling off the black or negative terminal for 30 seconds so the car and relearn your new mod in under 2 weeks.
12. reattach the neg terminal so your car starts, ya dummy!
13. undo prop from hood
14. move head away from your engine
15. close hood
16. start up car and go driving

thats it!

simple enough, huh :)

oh..you want pics of the install too? check out these bad boy si took for ya.

How too for people that cannot install a CAI without the help of instructions:
1: pop hood
2: prop hood
3: place head into engine bay
4: remove prop
5: allow hood to drop. repeat if necessary.

so wait.....what does the engine look like again? I don't think my celica has one of those. And what is CAI I haven't heard of that....I did buy a cold air intake kit though. ;)

So why don't you guys post the TSBs and the recalls?

Using the intake for induction was a joke. Ricers say they get an intake....but do they really get a new intake manifold? No. Just a plastic or chrome pipe with a filter. That is induction ricers.

By the way, this:
"How too for people that cannot install a CAI without the help of instructions:
1: pop hood
2: prop hood
3: place head into engine bay
4: remove prop
5: allow hood to drop. repeat if necessary." was some funny **** reality man. I am laughin' my ass off. You and slasher are some funny characters.

Well, Larry
My instruction that I put out on one of the post, they said it helped them.

Injen CAI GT installation guide w/o pictures.

1. For easier installation, you might wanna take off your front bumper. There are 14 bolts that are holding your bumper. 4 of them are visible when you pop your hood. Rest of them are on the bottom and sides. It will come off easy once you unscrew those bolts.

2. Take off your air filter box. You will need to disconnect the black pipe running from your throttle body to your air box. Pop those 4 clips holding the air box together. Unscrew any necessary bolts. Unplug your vacumm hoses (there should be 4). MAF (mass air flow sensor, the square looking thing attached to your air pipe), you will need to unscrew that but be careful not to damage.

3. Once the air box is completely removed, you are ready to begin. Take out the ECU cooling pipe (it is the skinny long black pipe runnning from your radiator fan to your box ECU). Put that aside.

4. Now, your Injen CAI should have came with three hoses. Make sure you have all three.

5. Install your vibra-mount (it goes right next to your small fuse box, there should be a little hole for it. Reference your INJEN instruction picture)

6. Now, put your intake Pipe in slowly as you will scratch the hell out of your polished pipe if you do not. Put it in and do not tighten it yet as you will need to make adjustments.

7. Get the red longest Injen hose and replace that with the hose coming out of the engine. Get the second longest red Injen hose and replace that with the hose that is attached to your OBD canister (the one that has a green cap in the middle) NOTE: You will need to switch your stock hose to a longer one (remember there are two hoses that is connected by a green cap, the first one is replaced by a INJEN, and the second one is the one you will need to switch out)

8. Put those changed hoses into their respective right fitted holes. Now, you will need to put your MAF on. When you look at your pipe, you will see a square looking cut hole. Place your MAF and screw it on. Remember to be careful as you might damage it.

9. Tighten your OBD canister with hoses connected onto your intake pipe. Make sure not to scratch your intake pipe as this object is somewhat sharp on the edge.

10. Connect your last Red Injen hose to a last left hole on the bottom of your intake pipe. Once this is completed, you are done with hose techniques.

11. The fun part, cut out a square piece out of your fender in order to make your filter fit. Make sure you do not cut too much as it will cause the water to leak. Once cut, place your filter onto your pipe.

12. Tighten your pipe from a throttle body and tighten your filter (you will need some adjustments on filter because the filter will get in the side bumper wires). Make sure everything is tightened and in good adjusted setting.

13. You should have two thick red injen hose. Take that pipe that you put aside. Take it apart into two pieces (it should come right off). Cut it out like your original instruction tells you to and reconnect them with the skinny hose provided. Note: In order for your ECU pipe to stay in place without you checking it everyday, follow this. The other part of the pipe, you will need to cut that into half and reconnect that with the thicker hose provided. These steps should make your pipe stay forever.

14. You are almost done. Start your car and rev it. You will love the sound.

15. Put your front bumper back in place and others that needs to be put back. Make sure you put it in correct. Clean up your mess.

16. I don't think I left out anything. It has been about 2 months after the installation of mine. Enjoy your bad INJEN CAI. Hopefully no CEL because I do not have one. If you have any questions please email me at acuranamja@hanmail.net.

Disclaimer:

I am not responsible for your car if you damage it. Do it at your own risk and you are solely responsible for whatever it would cause. Thanks.

Hey Larry,

My dad just ordered a CAI from you for my GT-S for my christmas gift. He's got a pretty good digicam too. If you still need one shortly after christmas, I'll write one up. I installed a short ram on my eclipse without any instructions so this can't be too much harder. I'll just see if anyone beats me to it I guess.
