They also have the mechanical version there too ... its basicallt the same there , but you can tell its the 03 because of the celica emblem in the rear is a differant shape. I think the 03 are going to have full BLACK INTERIOR PLASTIC ALSO .... i think , thats what i see from some other pics.

The front facia seems awfully restrictive. The slit seems too low to feed cold air into the intake. It is almost like they are trying to detune the 03 model.

just how much of that is black?? everything..if so i will be jealous..i always thought that toyota was insane for going with grey instead of black on the interior. even the seats are really black..its diluted. always annoyed me a bit. then again..sometimes the pics always look better

well if you wanted a stock dash it would be 380 bucks and the doors are 65 or so a piece.
thats for the current ones.
i dont know how much the new ones would be.
i want the black door and doors to match the red im doing.

it will probably be like 600 for the whole car Front ..doors .... trim .... back quarter .... and back. It would be worth it. Its about the same as if you got our painted.

People are getting annoyed by the front bumper......... I think its ok , but i like mine 10X more. It would be cheap as hell to swap out that bumper for a aftermarket , then BAM you got a NICE A S S celica! With a 8400 rpm rev limit ... BLACK INTERIOR .. OPTIONAL HIDs ... OPTIONAL Navagation system ... Collored side skirts .. New and very nice brake lights .... and very nice smooth , black tinted headlights.
Bargain in my opinion!

It's not a drastic change really. Although I do wonder now with the updated look, when the 8th gen will be released. Origionally I've been hearing 2004. I guess that's still feasible.

Well you're either gonna love it or hate it. I happen to love it. I think the little changes Toyota has made, are welcome improvements to an already great car. The front is sweet with that mesh grill, the interior is awesome all in black (although it's gonna be real hot in the summer), brake lights are nice, and the option list is awesome. If the nav system, and climate control are offered here, I'm all over it. I know the HID's have already been confirmed as an option, so I will be getting that for sure. Drive by wire, I have no problem with that either. The system works, I've driven cars with drive-by-wire, and response is instantaneous.

What I like most though, is now you can get the body kit without that big, goofy, ghetto wing that comes with the current kit. No offense guys, but that wing has rice written all over it. When I was shopping the Celica, I remember asking the sales manager if I bought the car, if it would be possible to get the body kit, without the aggressive wing, but with the regular wing instead. He said the "kit is an all or nothing thing, and if you want the lower body extensions you're gonna have to get the aggressive wing with it". Well, by looking at the pictures it looks like you can get a body kit, with a regular wing. Thank you Toyota.

I like the bottom half of the new bumper. The top half just doesn't make sense. The only things I'd go out of my way to swap on my car are the orange center stack lighting, the DVD nav (if ever availabe here), and maybe the color coded side skirts. Everyone on here is gonna have the new tails in a month or so :p, and I can live without the heat absorbing darker interior.

I think those tail lights suck ass, same with the new bumper. The interior isn't too bad but like you said it will absorb heat like a champ.

I dont think the new model looks too bad....I thought the front was ugly at first, but now the more I look at it, I kinda like it....I think the front in the 00-02 models was kinda fat.....(yes, fat, not phat)....it looked a little bit to big, but this one is kinda 'sunken in' more....I like it.... ;) :)
