Project car

What would you get for a good project car?

I would get a Supra... 94-96 and of course a TT...

Do the ever so popular 1 turbo conversion to start, and keep going from there... Veilside kit, 19" Volks, Custom Exhaust, Custom paint, Custom interior (as in Gutted :D) and blow the tires off anything on the road...

Of course I can't afford all that so... I might settle for a late 80's CRX with a b16 swap...:)

I think project car implies not spending $100G on car plus mods. It also usually means you're going to do the work yourself.

A friend of mine said he knows someone we can buy an old 4wd Peugeot from for hella cheap. We're thinking rally car. :) That's a project car.

Old american muscle cars always make for good project cars. Nissan 240s seem popular as well for project cars these days. If it's not fuel injected and doesn't have a computer chances are it would make a good project car.

Personally, i'd get a 69-71 Chevelle. I like how they look and they aren't too expensive for one in decent shape.

I would like to find a torn MR2 or RX7 and restore it all myself.

I would either like a '93-94 Talon TSI & re-work the engine, larger injectors, port&polish job on intake&exhasut ports & the head, rims, body kit, paint job, interior, full system all in all something fast and fun

OR

MR2 & do everything mentioned above.

BUT

since Im spending all of my money on gas right now in my '90 300ZXTT it doesnt look like Im going to be putting out tens of thousands on another car:( Maby in the future. For now Im happy at stage III. 60 time is down to 5sec. and its pushing 400HP:) Anyone know where I can pick up a computer job making bank??? I need something to do this summer before I head off to college. I really need some cash. (for my car and to get another car)

90's mr-2 turbo, 350hp and i would be happy
90's twin turbo 300zx everything stillen stage and upgrade, and jim wolf technology makes. (wish i still had my z:sad )
93-up twin turbo supra, hmmmm i heard of a mr-2 swap that pushed the car to 200+mph
90's 240sx, with s15 engine swap :D
