Well just some background info, but I finally got my exhaust yesterday and all eager to get the baby in. Except I encounted some problems along the way. I tried some higher wattage bulbs and screwed everything up. I ended up wasting an hour taking off the bumper and checking everything. Turns out it blew two fuses. So I've found out the Zeta System + High Wattage bulbs = kerplut.

But I went to pop my engine bad hood and it just pulled up like nothing. At first it used to be hard to open, but now it plain wouldn't open at all!

Fast forward to today, I was still thinking about my exhaust taking up my brother's entire room and how much he'd be pissed to see his room when he gets back from the Mainland today. So I went outside and fiddled around. Amazingly this little dope here actually "broke" into his own car without damaging a thing! It's extremely frightening cause now I feel like anyone could disarm my alarm without it even going off. I knew I should've gotten the hoodpin, backup battery and other goodies. Oh well, I'll definitely be sure to make things safer ASAP!! YIKESSSS!

Yikes! That's one thing I'd always worry about with convertibles... security. Pretty much what kept me from seriously considering the S2000 (well, that and the crappy plastic rear window).

What kind of exhaust did you get?

Damn that is scary. I had an exact opposite experience myself. It took a locksmith 1 hr to get into my car. He tried picking the lock, all the little tools you slip in the window, phone calls to other smiths. I finally consented for him to go around the window. I had to hold back the window with a spacer while he reached into the center console with a hangar...he didnt charge me for the session because the car kicked his ass..

Hehe, hey Delo what you said reminds of my friend chanting to me "Go Monkey Go! Go Monkey Go!" while I was working on my car. I felt silly :-p

Hey Clint, actually it was to get inside my engine bay, not my interior cabin. I never realized it but the basic concept I used could possibly be used on any car, just take a little more time. But now that I know it, I'm gonna make it so no one can do it AFTER I get my cable fixed.

Oh ya and I got a Team Moon exhaust made from the mainland shap "Mazcare." My gf actually took some pics of me putting in the exhaust the other night. I'll post up later more.
