To check the stall speed of an automatic, follow this simple procedure:
With the car in drive and at a complete stop, use your left foot to hold down the brake. Using your right foot, depress the accelerator. You will see the rpms rise. They will eventually stop rising, or "stall." This is your stall speed. The Celica's is about 2000 rpm.
To launch an automatic, you load up the TC using the method outlined above, only when you reach your stall speed, you quickly release the brake and floor the accelerator. This makes for a much quicker launch than simply flooring it. The higher your stall speed, the harder you launch and the quicker you get into the car's powerband.
I wouldn't recommend doing this very often, however. It greatly increases wear and causes the tranny to get very hot very fast. And bad things happen when your tranny gets too hot (read, it breaks).

Just dont race with it.....
I used to race but i just found out theres limit for A/T
if u really want to race with AT here....
Hold Down Break blah blah blah u know that so...
let me skip that
start with L bring it up to 6.5~6.7 (thats when most HP kicks in)
Shift to 2nd (make sure dont hold down the gas while shiftin)
bring it up to 6.5~6.7 shift to D
(make sure ur overdrive is off)
Pop nitrous up to 4000rpm
kick that turbo shyt in up to 6000rpm
turn on the overdrive nitrous up to 3000rpm
then split the fvck out with turbo
HAHA ..... thats only if u can afford those
if u can't just keep shiften
