Apex-i SUPER ITC

Would SUPER ITC
(IGNITION TIMING CONTROLLER) work on our cars, cuz i'm thinking of getting the gude performance pack, but i hear all this thing about ignition timing and stuff, so will the apex super itc work on our cars to fix the ignintion timing ? thanks

From reading the description on A'PEXi's website (http://www.apexi-usa.com/electronics_superitc.asp) , it appears to intercept the crank/cam angle sensor before the ECU, it the gives the ECU a altered signal to adjust ignition timing.

I don't think the fact that the Celica uses direct ignition would be a problem, and I don't think VVT-i would be a problem either. But I don't understand how it would not screw up the fuel injectors timing too http://www.newcelica.org/ubb/confused.gif.
