sup celica peeps
i currently own 2000 GT-S 6spd
im thinking about getting a new car since i lost my arbitration case, and my car is about to break down.
im considering 2 cars at this moment
1. 2003 celica GT-S 6spd
2. 2002 RSX-S 6spd
i could buy a 40000$$ Supra but for 20yr old college student.. RSX or Celica is the perfect car considering insurance payments n credit.
I know Celica is a great car but aftermarket support sux compare to RSX or anyother hondas. Does anyone recommend RSX?
is there any other car that you guys recommend(in 25,000 price range)?

WRX. That's what I would get if I were in your shoes. But I wouldn't trade it in for my celica!

WRX definitely.... same price range as the type S.... knock the socks off it.... although... looking at ur choices..... they all have looks (although some may differ about the RSX-s) dunno if WRX would be good. in that case, i'd get the GT-S.
since u've already had a celica, maybe its time to move on to lexus territory.... 5-spd is300 is pretty nice....

I was thinking about getting the IS300 for my next car, but when you look at the pricing and the other options out there, its just not worth it. For 29-35k (depending on options) I can get an S2000 or if thats too small, I could get the G35 Coupe coming out this fall that blows the is300 out of the water in probably every category, except maybe in looks, but thats just personal preference.

Since u've owned a Celica, why not try other cars? I'd definitely look into owning a WRX, or if u can wait, the Evo. However, I'd wait till the end of the year and then decide. By then, u'd hv more selections to pick from: 350Z, G35 Coupe, RX-8. Or if u can wait till next year: WRX STi, Evo VIII.
As for RSX-S, yes, the aftermarket support is good, but u get better gain out of a turbocharged car. Just my thoughts.....

I'd say get a 94-95 V-6 camaro and drop an LT1 in that can do high 11,s with ported heads and a good program in it. Then you have to insurance of a v-6 but can smoke damn near anything on the road.... Thats what I am going to do this winter and make my celica my daily driver to and from work...
