Well kiddos, I finally redid my rims in a graphite color. They were originally dark bronze, but they looked UPS brown so I switched them. Now they look pretty clean. The link is here.

Duplicolor wheel paint. I originally had them powdercoated but the shop fuxored them up badly. They did a shotty job in which the paint chipped and was, even the wrong color I was looking for. Due to time constraints I haven't been able to fix them since Jan. I'm questioning the durability of the wheel paint since, I do a bit of autoxing, but they should hold up pretty well. The paint seems to be decent enough.

I didame thing to my wheels about 4 months ago. Duplicolor Graphite rox!!! They havent faded or chipped yet, and I wash the car every weekend.

There is a MUCH easier way to mask off your tires...tapeing takes too long. I used 3x5 index cards and wedged them down into the tiny space between the tire and the outter lip of the wheel. Worked like a charm. No overspray on the tires at all. When you're done, just chuck the cards in the trashcan. Cleanup takes like 3 minutes!!
