I heard that if the intercooler is not that good and because it mounts in front of ac condensor that it will keep ac from working well, is this true? Because I found that my AC is not really affected by the intercooler, so either I have great intercooler or the rumor is not true.

The intercooler should mount as close to the condensor as possible. They shouldn't touch but they should be damn close.

It'll only make the air con work harder if you install the intercooler incorrectly.

uhm.. the only reason your intercooler would have any effect on your AC condesnor is blockiong air thats going to it.. they both work on the concept of the fins being cooled from air coming at it.. if you block one with the other its going to be less efficient.. for example in my Eclipse my intercooler blocks my radiator and now I should really get a better radiator to make up for the lost performance in my stock radiator..
