The dealer drilled holes in my front bumper and put their tag on it. Do they sell any painted plugs to cover the holes? Right now I just have an empty tag bracket. They also left two extra scored spots because the bolts that hold the tag on the bracket were too long.....sigh...
Anyway, appreciate any solutions.

Nope..Toyota doesn't sell plugs like the Honda does. And theres nothing you can do about the scores. So you can either repaint the front, get an aftermarket bumper, or fill in the holes w/ some type of putty and apply touch-up paint.

That sux, maybe I could buy honda plugs and paint them my color. Probably more work than just pathing the bumper tho.
Oh well, thanx

Even those that come without plates have dimples there, don't they?
I had the body shop fill mine in when I had it repainted. I'd do it again in a heartbeat for the $50 he charged me.

They actually do have them at toyota. It actually doesn't cover the hole, It covers the screw. It uses the existing screws and covers it and the cap is chrome, imo, it was ugly as hell. I rather have holes. Honda's hole caps are much better and they won't fit on the Celica, at least not the Civic ones.

hmm...thanx again, can a body shop fix them without repainting the whole nose? I was also considering finding a nice emblem, sticker, etc....to place over them. I'm not sure how I could make that look right tho.

Naw. If they fix it right, they'll fill it from both sides and sand it out flush to look right. Plan on a full front end repaint.

I hate when a dealer does that!! My last car, a ZX2, had that crap on it. We had all the financing done and all, then I walk out and when they so called 'cleaned it', they put a tag on it!!! I told them they could keep the whole car.The dealer found me another car with a sunroof and CD for the same price the next day!!!

Sweet, nice wheelin and dealin RATIFIED. I got mine from a guy in Broomfield, Colorado. It took me about 6 months to find the right car. When my Grandfather drove up in it, he drove it to Oklahoma for me, it had a fugly Volvo, Toyota dealership thing on it. Very first act was to remove it. At least I have a toyota tag holder on it. I've had that crazing upside down looking "U" shaped thing since I got it. Likes like a tiny fu man chu mustach, sheez...
I almost bought a red GTS 6, w/o leather and airbags a month before. I got all the way to signing the last paper and just couldn't do it. I excused myself and then later found my car for a $1000 less with 6000 less miles, leather, and airbags. Plus, it was in perfect shape and I managed to not pay excise tax, hehehe.....The deal is always out there....

actually when my car was hit, i had asked the body shop to fill in the holes and flush out the surface, but he had told me that since it was polyurathane that if they filled and sanded the surface they actually might end up going through the whole bumber. I dont know if this is actually true or if i had a really bad experience.
