Goin to west covin toyota tomorrow (12/7) to ask david about my ss and clear fuel lid

i need a oil change and some other minor stuff to be done. I do have a toyota dealer near my house but i will be going to wc toyota. I need to know what is going on with the trd ss and the clear fuel lid that i ordered last month. I hope david isn't on a vacation or something...

I ordered my three months ago. I'm sure it's customs that's slowing it down.

I was talking to one of there sales guys and he told me that the OEM grille that I ordered was in the same shipment as the door sills, I don't know if that includes the fuel lid, but I got my grille today. So, you guys might be getting something soon.

all that stuff was special ordered and is on a crate somewhere waiting for customs.. it takes a while..

i talked to draper personally over the phone today and the "huge shipment" has finally cleared customs but is being delayed (so i guess it technically didn't clear....) by a "dangerous" item of some sort. he expects it delivered anytime from tomorrow to later than tomorrow because there is no way of knowing when it will clear for good. hope this answers all questions.

I took a while for me to get my grill in so I just e-mailed them they e-mailed me back in a couple hours. Unless you really want to drive all the way down their just e-mail them

i didn't just go down to west covina to ask david about the ss and the clear fuel lid. I need to get a oil change, get my throttle cable tightned, and fix my squeeking belt problem. I live 15 mins away from west covina toyota so it was not a problem going down there.

Oh yea, i forgot to mention, i did email david couple of times but i didn't get any replies from him.

well i went to wct and i have to say, everybody at wct is nice. everybody took there time and explained everything.
Unfortunately, they have to order a new belt so i have to go back. Everything else was fixed. The throttle cable is in factory specs and the oil change was done.

As far as David, he is one nice guy. It seemed like he was busy at the time of my visit but, he took his time and explained everything to me. Including the turbo and some of the other stuff i had to ask.

I have another dealer next to my house (5 mins away) that i usually go to but i have decided to go to wct from now on.
