Welps..props for the ride...looks nice...but..umm..I don't like the hood really.

What function does the little grill do? I imagine it might work well for your standard intake..but it doesn't look like it feeds it well.

Is it just for appearances? Kinda reminds me of those Civics with a gazillion different vents and grills and crap.

Unless you race in reverse I don't know how air is going to fly through there so I would have to assume its just for appearances.....

the rim size is 15 with sticky falken tires, the vent actully does help release "some" of the heat in the engine bay.

umm wouldnt it kinda be crappy on a rainy day to have that hood?...sends water into the engine bay...? water slides down the hood..but who would have that on a rainy day;) jus swap back to stock hehe

i sold my 18's getting new rims in a couple of weeks.
The rims that r on my car now r my racing rims they weight about 12lbs. The tires r 205/ 50 /15

If u need somthing light and grips like a mofo this is the best combo besides slicks.

You need to get rid of that old strut bar and put a polished HyperMotive bar under there to score BIG points at the shows and Score nice times at the track on race day! Those old chrome moly bars are outta date! ;)

I know that Jun designed a hood with similarly placed vents for the 4th gen prelude. Air goes in through the front bumper and gets dispersed out the top since heat rises. But with Hondas the header is normally there and it helps get rid of the heat from the header. But I know you guys have your IM right there instead.

As far as his hood, it does look to far up to do any help. but I wouldn't dismiss any hood with similar vents as useless. Look at some of the cowl hoods for domestics, they dont have to use reverse for em'....

I would DEFFINATELY have one if it wasn't for the rain traveling back down the hood into the engine bay...living in Pa, the rain and snow would get to it a little much.

painting a cf hood does deffeat the purpose of buying one, why not get the all fiber glass hood, I would think if people e-mailed VIS and asked for the same hood in fiber glass they would be able to make one, plus it would be easier for them I think, and it might be cheaper too.
