Phillips or Vision HID
then stock
all aftermarket ones burn out faster than stock

A year? That`s not too bad a service life. No headlight is going to last as long as stock.
Of course, it all depends on how much you use them.

I installed my "PIAA Xtreme white" H7s six months ago and they are still OK.
At least 50% of my driving is at night so this means that they are on at least 1/2 hour every night .
So, that would translate into 1 year if I rarely drove at night!

Point is, you will get various answers depending on the bulb`s usage

I am still having my Philips blue vision running. I had it for 1 and a half yrs. But I don't drive too much at night, just on the week-end.
I just order Philips Vision Plus (Being shipped from Europe, since no way I could get them in US). I heard it is very very bright!!!

The TRD Msports headlight??

And no, H7 does not mean projector housing. H7 is also used in reflector based housings. VW Golf (the newest one) uses H7 low beam AND high beam.

I believe the difference is their wattages. I think the correct one is 168 (higher wattage).

I have had my ion White bulbs in for over a year and a half and still no signs of fading or anything. (**knock on wood**)

The brand are Nokia H7 Ion White 100w
