hey everyone...i have something to tell everyone in TCC. just so you know ahead of time...it's not too good...in fact it's not good at all.... Really soon here i will most likely not be a member of the Texas Celica Club. I hate to say that cuz i really love u guys..and gals. I'm no longer going to have my liquid silver 2000 celica. It now belongs to my dad..he sorta took it away. he's just decided that i'm not to have it anymore..amongst a few other things that are going to change other aspects of my life. . the what could be good news is i am gettin a new car. i was lookin into a used celica..which could possibly mean stayin in the club...but i really wanna get an RSX-type S...i looked at a few today and they are affordable...cheaper than a GT-S..and that's new...if i can find a pre-owned then i'm in business...but then i might get anywhere beween a corolla and a type-s..it's all up in the air..anyways guys...just letting ya'll know that most likely i wont be in TCC anymore. dad says the celica is his and if i want he'll sign the papers for the van over to me to trade it in to get sumthin else....which leads me to a few other things......i have eibach springs for sale, 18 inch konig monsoons, with like new performance tires, and if my aem CAI and TRD exhaust ever come in then those will be for sale too...of course ya'll got dibs..but lemme see how things go in the next few weeks....later guys..wish me luck........

well originally everything was under his name and he said i could keep the car but pay for everything..i was only paying half...he paid insurance and the other half of the car...he decided that he didnt wanna do that just in case i got behind on a payment then his credit would go bad....so i hafta buy my own car..which sux cuz i dont have established credit. i can get the car but i wont be able to haggle it down as much for this reason....now on to picking me off like vultures...jk...i will most likely sell the rims cuz i dont think they will fit on what i will be driving...i dunno if i'm gonna get money back for the CAI or actually get it. it's sposed to have been sent out but still no word..i'll let you know whats up...i might even giveaway my s2k antennae..as long as i can find my stock one...tryin to make the celica as plain as possible so that he wont benefit from any of my hard work...even the grill is goin..lol...that was a biatch to make look nice. i'll let him have the bulbs since on of em is burned out. the really suckass part is, the whole reason i paid an arm and a leg to get this aftermarket clutch was so that i could use it and benefit....now i basically paid 1,200 dollars for him to have a badass aftermarket clutch. this sucks..but i am having RSX dreams....maybe one day...or maybe not...

if it were me id spring for an mkIII (not mkiv) supra Turbo...
but if ya wanna stay in the celi family, try and find a used GT
they r cheap yo.

yea i'm pretty sure that i could find a cheap one...i was considering buyin a type-S cuz turns out i most likely can stay at home so my payments at (i went to go check it out) would be 375 plus insurance which i'm figurin about 200 a month..that makes it575 a month. at 12 dollars an hour that should be less than one paycheck..but then that's working full time. but then i woke up today thinking..hell..why do i really need a super fast car....well for an import it is super fast....i saw a used GT for like 11,000 at carmax..but i figure just pay a little more and get a GT-S if it comes to that. after driving a few type-s's and GT-S's..i'm addicted to lift....we'll see what happens...and if i do get a celica..i can already use the stuff i got...hmmmm!!!..gonna go look sum more for a celica..see what i can find...

Ok,

i had no credit and i got my car plus 20% off for first time byers' thing...the car ended up being around 22 thou. that is my car plus all the extras, 80,000/ 6 yr warrentee and TT&L and someother costs....go to SterlingMcCall Toyota and see Juan Varon. he is a mgr there now and he can hook you up...if when you want to go call me and i will go with you for support of moral...talking like YODA special i feel.

hey kareem..actually at Sterling McCall there is a used GT..and its silver!!! its about 15,000 hopefully negotioable..thats a perty good proce..fogot if it was 2000 or 2001...but i really wanted something with "lift"...i was thinking about that and i realized..just be realistic...i learned a new word the other day...i think it was "turbo"!!! after a couple of months i could have enough saved for it and run it at only a safe 6 psi and still have about 230 horses. type-s? what? oh that hing BACK there..lol...at this moment these are all just dreams..there are lots of other things i will hafta consider. but a 300 or maybe 350 payment isnt too bad...just gotta check on insurance. i didnt know i could get any first time buyer's discount..hey kareem how much do you pay for insurance? ben? whatabout the car note itself? alright guys thanx for everything.....man its kinda hard to find a used GT-S....i still havent found one...anybody have any comments on those places where they will loan you the cash to buy the car straight up and then you pay off the loan with finance...kinda like financing the car at the dealer?? oh yea..is it easy to trick the insurance into thinking you have a GT and not a GT-S???i know someone is doing it i just forgot who? ok guys thanx again...latez

SY2KCelica, hey if your looking to finance a car, try to get a loan through the credit union, that's how I got my loan for my celica and they have really low interest rates, I am paying 6.2% interest on my celica and the dealer wanted to charge me 19.5% for interest....so you should check it out, you don't even have to do much, I just had to open an account with them, all I have is a $5 savings account open with them, cause I have my money in another bank, and I thought I would have to open one at like 200.00 but all you have to have is $5......check it out and let me know.......later

I got on my dad's insurance. the family is full of bad drivers...we pay about 1600 a year...that is alot...anyway if i were you get a NEW 02 GT through Gabrial at FrdHass, he has hook up ther i just talked to him about it and was saying about 15500 for 02 GT then all the taxes and stuff....

I got financed through Toyota Motor Credit, my interest rate is high but i am gonna re- finance soon...i just hit the one year mark in end if July..so about to be 1.5 yrs...ahh well i am at like 15%...i think

would u happen to know if the 02 ECU is programmed to have an earlier rev limiter than that of the 00 or 01? i know the 02 GT-S has an earlier fuel cut-off.but i was wondering about the GT..anyone with any info? sam..maybe u could ask chris? oh yea sam..you guys have a used SI in your inventory..u have any idea how much the normal price on it is?..thats a lot of cars that you take pictures of..i looked at justabout all of em...thanx
