View Full Version : Fiberglass Z3 Fenders For Our Rides

Who would be interested in some custom fiberglass z3 fenders for our celicas? I am tired of waiting for AEROGEAR to come out with these for our rides. They have them for everything from the civic to the cougar, but not our celicas... Give me a break :)
I am speaking to a friend of mine who owns a body shop and working out a way to do this for our rides...
Can I have a show of hands who would be interested in having a set of these if I had them produced at my friends shop?
Interested in them or not? :)

They are called Z3 fenders for a reason....because they belong on z3's only. Oh well, you are entitled to your own opinion. Hope it looks good though!

ha ha ha ha, while that was funny, it wasnt called for. lets not start a flaming war again. each person has his own opinion on what looks good on HIS car. who the f*ck cares what everyone else thinks. if you like z3 fenders, get em. if you like different colored wheels, get em... rice is a term that should be used for people with a gt who put gts emblems on it. thats rice. or putting a type r sticker on a stock integra. i give carlos props for being different...
back to the matter at hand... i would have to see the fenders first, but as of right now, i think they wouldnt look good on the celi.

if enough ppl want them i can get them done also, my friend owns a shop, we are getting ready to put out a bunch of stuff for the celica's in carbon fiber, we we can do fiberglass, and its much cheaper. but if enough ppl want them we can make them also.

I would have to say no until I saw them on the car. Personally, I would much rather have CF fenders.

Sorry. But I think this is a BMW thing. I see them on Integras and Eclipse/Talons. I'll definately pass. Putting BMW styling pieces to imitate is rice to me. Anything that imitates another car or pretending to be a racer when your not is rice to me. Sometimes if it's done right it can be acceptable. But if someone sees a part on a car and says "oh a Z3 fender", "a Type R sticker"! Or "Wow a Super Touring sticker on the side of a stock Civic!" To me they go hand in hand.

Thanks, but I can get them real cheap through my sponsor once they are released. As soon as they receive them, they are going on my car. I appreciate it though.

If you want them then just buy the actual Z3 vents or M3 vents and have them cut into you stock fender and painted. It comes close to the same price as buying new ones.

VIS allready makes the Z3 and the M3 fiberglass fenders for our cars. I've seen a picture of them on a silver celica with the kaminari kit. They looked ok with that kit. I think they would look better with a car with more angles like the veilside kit or something like that.

X-1 are the best looking fenders you can get for the Celica, Z3 and M3 don't even come close
and look rice compaired to the X-1's.

I might be interested, but would want to see how they look and more importantly installation requirements.
I've only been a member here a couple of months, and its amazing how many people are free to give negative opinions. Think for a minute that if we all made the same choices, what a freeking bore that would be...our cars would be identical. Remember this too, guys who are into American muscle cars refer to our cars as Rice Burners. Its a shame that there is a sub category among Celica owners known as "Ricers"? give me a break with that sheeit.

Not too sure about fitment and quality bit dubious about that, would be alot better if it was made from Urethane and not fibreglass

Ok, I don't know why people say RICE or diss people for putting Z3 fenders on their cars. I mean almost everyone on this board has a friggin s2000 antenna on their celi. what the hell do you call that? Stop being such hypocrites. If done right I think that Z3 fenders would look ok, but personally i wouldn't put them on my car. I think it might look wierd.
