whats up you guys! i went to the toyota dealership today because my friends dad was going to buy the new 02 camry. let me tell you that car has is worth every penny. The interior looked better then i thought. But while i was walking i catch a dark silver grey color car on the side of my eye. i Turn around and see thats a celica. i walk closer to it and it definitely was not liquid silver, you could tell it was much darker. Kinda looks like the silver celicas from Europe.....The color loooked realy sweet. The car had new plates and everything. Can anyone explain this?

I went to Toyota's website and they didn't have anything new as for the color of the car, but take a look at this picture and see if you notice anything different.

i've gotten used to the orange, but the green matches with the overall console/center divider thingy. i like it:D, but not too unhappy i have the orange.... the dealer may have specially painted that one, otherwise, if it were an official color, we'd know about it:D it HAS been like 2 years now, they should have changed SOMETHING... they usually do... '02 celicas have been out for like 2.5 months now.. how come nobody said anything about the green instead of orange? either that or when they changed the format on the picture orange got lost
anyone with a clearer idea?

Must be some custom job because I have a 2002 Celica and the gauges are still orange, at least here in Canada.
I kinda like the orange colour myself, but I must admit the green gauges look pretty sweet.

I don't believe those are green guages. The photo wasn't color-corrected and the green is a mistake. It happens sometimes. And why would toyota make green gauges??(not to mention that is the ugliest green ive ever seen. It totally looks like an uncorrected image) Think about it.
they dont look green to me..check the tint on your computer screen :)

Those pictures Toyota has been using on their website have been shown before the 7th gen Celica first came out. I'm guessing that was a preproduction model because pictures from the same series showing the interior also have green gauges. Looks like Toyota decided to change them to orange before they went into production. And about the dark grey Celica, it probably was a custom job.
