nothing wrong with the mech. front, though it is really common since a lot of people by it from the factory, but you can still make it look really nice with rims and other such things, be creative... u can always do other things to go with it

not too original... if you're really going for the "totally custom" look, then it's not the kit to go with. "cookie cutter" might be another good phrase for it.. :chuckles:

No way!!! keep it!! Its definatly one of the better looking front end's out there. Come on if I see anothe kali or RM im going to puke LOL even Molly has work that could be done LOL I have the stock 2002 and wish I had the trd. I may go elegant kit and join the bland aftermarket crowd yet though.

Mech front is the best looking front imo. Alot of people don't like it cus it's factory. Imagine if it wasn't a factory option, how many people would actually like it then:rolleyes:

What do you do when you see a stock Celica? There are 20x the amount of those on the road (like yours) compared to Celica's with "kali" or "RM" or "Molly" bodykits. Pause...."kali" and "RM" :chuckles:....before ripping, learn how to type or learn the full names.

carboncelicatrd,

You can still do good "custom" work to accent the TRD Mechanical front fascia. However, if you are having strong second thoughts, there's not a better time than now to return it but check the return policy first of course.

I'll take that Mechanical Front if you don't want it. Hopefully it's carbon blue.

I completely concur with Rich here. Veilside is the uncomaparable kit (of course I say this and in the next breath will tell you how phucking sweet the Blade kit is that I havenever seen one anywhere but in pictures before). The Trial kit is also beast.

1) vielside doesn't look THAT great....only on white cars..i'm bias

2) i think you should think of something to do w/ your mechanical front...like djtoy or someone is adding the rmm front kit to the front of his mechanical front bumper....think really hard of how to customize your front........think!!!

The mechanical bumper is my second favorite bumper for the Celica, it's aggressive, yet subtle. You can probably guyess with bumper is my favorite.

Maybe it's just the area, but I haven't seen an RMM kit here and only a couple kaminari's.

If you want to really give your car a customized look, I would look at paint and color schemes. You can still go with the Mechanical front and just have a paint job that is rare or unique. However, if you do decide to go that route, just prepare yourself for some negative feedback as well.
