Hi everyone! I'm new in regards to participating in the conversations, but I've been visiting this website since February. I need some GOOD advice. First of all, 2000 GT Spectra Blue, black emblem on hood grill, clear corners, clear turn signals, clear DRL, hyperwhite headlights, removed badges from trunk, S2000 antenna, black Celica letter fill ins, etc. Nothing to brag about, but just an FYI. I'm not really into the altezza taillight thing  that a lot of people are doing these days. Wondering if people could offer some alternatives to modifying the taillights of my car. Also, not into the complete redding out of the taillights either . Thinking about vinyl overlay or something  . . . .but HELP me please! Thank you for your time :wiggle:

a vinyl overlay is how you red the tails.....it's very cost effective and definitely looks better than stock.
if you're willing to spend the money I would suggest the TYC's

Thank you for your response, however, I thought there were different types of vinyl overlay. Someone was telling me of a vinyl overlay that would make your tailllights looked smoked. I dunno, I'm bad at describing things. But thank you for your feedback. . . .:-)

Talk to Blue Batmobile if you havn't already, he's probably one of the best benefits to the celica community out there and he is great with customer service/satisfaction. I've only heard positive things and he has enough overlay kits to customize your car forever. He is also the one who makes the smoked taillight kit. GL

Hi:).
I've been on vacation in Santa Barbara the last few days. I really needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of Vinyl Overlays:chuckles: Anyhoo I'm back and ready to rock n roll once more:). Click my Link below to view all my kits available. I'm continously coming up with new ideas and new kits! A popular kit is the v9 redout and v10 smoke kit. Redout your tails with the v9 then smoke 'em with my v10. Email me to order;).

Hey Bat, I just got my WW kit and was wondering if you could spill any hints on what's planned for the side vinyl overlay?

I should have pics of it within the next week or so. If you notice, the WWest sides are much flatter than the TRD ones. I wanted them to stand out alittle more, thus the idea for the Overlay:).

I think the turn signal redout then the smoke over everything looks good. Would go well with the rest of the dark colored stuff in my opinion. And if I'm not mistaken, TYC's tails come with a black and/or carbonfiber housing option too. I know someone named Fran who lives in the area that might be able to help you out. ;) -Skinny

I'll post pics hopefully tomorrow of my Gunmetal TYC's with my v11 Overlay Kit. Until then, here's a pic of TYC's with my Reverse Smoke Tint;).
