Raced a 3.2tl-s w/65 shot nos

I will hopefully have the video of it sometime next week. But any way here is the story. I dont have a license right now :( so I let my friend drive my car. He has a awd eclipse so he had a hard time launching the car and he also can't keep it in the lift while shifting. They raced 2 times. The first time the 3.2tl kicked my friends ass because he spunn all of first gear. The second race was alot closer and my friend only lost my ABOUT 1.5 - 2 carlengths. The guy in the 3.2tl said he sprayed his 65 shot in second gear on this run (just enough to keep the 3.2tl ahead). By the way my car has subs, playstation2 and 15" motitor that adds about 100-150lbs. Later that night my friend wasted a 2g gs eclipse with I/E. The cl also raced a very nice rx7 that sounded and looked like it wasnt stock at all. The cl also won this race :eek: but was forced to spray in all gears. Hope to have the vids next week. Does someone know where I can host them?

dude a 3.2 S should win without nitrous.. on nitrous it should literally kick your ass..

I second that. especially if your freind can't stay in lift you woulda lost without the nos. if you break outa lift you have about a 15 second run. now the TL-S is good for about 14.8 or so at the track, which is faster on the street. thats stock mind you, with a stock paper air filter. i dont know what yuo have in your car either, im giving you the benifit of the doubt here, saying that you have at least an intake and exhaust. plus you had all that heavy crap, and two peps in the car. that guy in the TL sucks at driving, i duno how hard it could be, all you do is stomp the gas in an auto. i am gonna guess well driven that TL with 65 shot can hit 13's. and a full second advantage in the 1/4 while racing is like 7 carlenghts.

I dont see many Cl-type-S in general that people my age drive. well i know one person that does :p . speaking of which i will be at tower shops friday the 21. so your ass better be there. i will be sporting the hubbies on front. im gonna try to pick a fight. lol jk sorta

Man, i couldn't imagine spending 30k on a car and slapping on some nitrous, im too much of a wuss for that.....but damn would it haul ass, it should easily hit mid to high 13, add the complete exhaust system and you gots low 13's..........wish i had some money **cough****cough** ADAM, i could atleast buy one mod for my 3.2.

our parents were friends since we were babies, he got the 3.2 tl for his 17th b-day then he slapped the NOS and exhaust on, shyt really hauls a$$

except that their transmission aren't that reliable. People over at honda-Acura.net will tell you that their transmissions don't last too long, unless you do annual trans fluid changes. Using sportshift makes it worst.

And...why no turbo by HKS for the Accord V6? Fried automatic trannys. I have no doubt the Nitrous will do the same to the TL-s

Yeah, Honda automatics don't have that good of reliability. BUT, when you buy Acura you are under warranty till 50,000 miles so replace as many as you like... IT's FREE!

However, the TL and CL 3.2 first of all have two cylinders on you so no surprises there right? Sure they are heavier but they really do haul.

Japanese Buicks? Looks yes... performance no...

Not to jump on the bandwagon and say "but the interior is nice" but... With all comptech mods I/H/E a CL will walk you on the track in leather, heated butt, watching a DVD while the navigation system tells him where to stop at the end of the track... cause he spanked you. Oh yeah, and his buddies will be rooting him on... from the back seat!:D

it was his dad's car first, when the dad got a new car, rather than my friend getting a enw car he got the 3.2 TL, it grew on him, it's a nice ride, 2' drop, kit the whole works, doesn't look anything like a caddy or buick to me
