My friend is thinking about making oil coolers for Celica's with FI. They will come on at one 180 and will maintain temp below 200. He is aiming to keep it below $200. Would anyone be interested in this?

I would, I would very much. But depends on how much and if it is easy to install and how big so I can figure out the placement...

im guessing installation would be pretty easy...most oil cooler kits just use a fitting thats gets sandwiched between the block and the oil filter...just mount the cooler and run 2 lines. cake to install...im making my own for my mr-s

This is very correct.

Here are some more specifics.

6 pass oil cooler with aluminium core
All necessary fittings and hoses
Oil sandwich adapater
180 degree thermostat
Mounting hardware

He is building one for his Supra to check fitment of the sandwich (the oil filter area is the same as ours) when he changes his oil next (about a month) then he is going to test it on my car. They he will be ready.

Looks like this might be sold as an option with the WC toyota kit.
